Since joining the firm in 2018, she has built a reputation for exceptional client service, technical expertise, and relationship-focused solutions. Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Accounting and a minor in International Business from Eastern Washington University in 2009. Her dedication to excellence, client service, and continuous professional growth culminated in earning her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2023.
Her expertise includes tax planning and preparation, financial reporting, and advisory services, allowing her to help clients navigate both day-to-day challenges and long-term strategic goals. She has extensive experience working with real estate, land development, and construction clients, while also supporting organizations across many other sectors. Katie is known for building strong client relationships founded on trust, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to her clients’ success.
Katie is passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of accounting professionals. She enjoys helping team members strengthen their technical skills, gain confidence, and grow into trusted advisors themselves. Katie believes investing in people is essential to both individual success and the firm's continued growth.
Outside the office, Katie enjoys traveling with her family, particularly cross-country road trips that combine a love of history, museums, and discovering new places. She also enjoys reading and volunteering in her community. Katie and her high school sweetheart recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, and they are proud parents of a daughter entering her senior year of high school.
