Melissa joined our team in October 2015. In 1998 she joined a local CPA firm where she began her career in accounting and tax. She initially was employed as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way to Accounting and Tax support. She is currently our Accounting Department Manager.
Before working for BSK, she worked for a small professional firm for 10 years where she continued to expand her knowledge of Accounting and Tax. Her 25+ years' experience includes full-charge bookkeeping, expertise in QuickBooks, individual and corporate tax preparation and planning.
She lives in Idaho with her husband, 2 dogs, and a cat. She lives on 5 acres and enjoys hosting gatherings and spending time with her friends and family around a bonfire. Her daughter has become recently engaged to a Naval Petty Officer and her son will be starting his senior year in high school in September.
